Last weekend we were invited to take our flowers from the Woodland Farm to join a small group of exhibitors for the Pembrokeshire Festival Wedding Open Day. Now, not all wedding fayre’s and venue open days are the same – lots of venues charge exhibitors a fortune, many let any traders attend (regardless of quality) and pack in the stalls to maximise their profits. This was quite different. Pitched to suit couples looking for ethical, local and DIY weddings Cwtch Camping with their fabulous tipis and Dews Lake Campsite who hosted the event did a marvelous job creating a really great vibe and handpicking local suppliers with real environmental and ethical credibility. Followed by the “day of the dead” mini music festival the afternoon and evening was truly unique. We had a great time and met lots of really fabulous people who love the idea of grown not flown flowers! Perfect.
