Festival Wedding Wales

When Hazel & Ian asked us to supply and arrange flowers for their festival-styled wedding we just knew it was going to be especially lovely – but also it had all the signs of a truly unique and fun wedding.

Held at the Ceridwen Centre on the Pembrokeshire Carmarthen border with their beautiful converted barns, tipi, yurts and now their re-furbished vintage double decker bus we were sure this one was going to be fabulous and we weren’t disappointed.

Here are some of the pictures both from us and our flowery antics but also from friends and guests who’ve put their beautiful snaps on Facebook. Huge thanks to Hazel and Ian for letting us share these … enjoy!

flower crownThe flower crown was designed to be asymmetric – but not too heavy matching Hazel’s hand-tied bouquet. We loved including hornbeam leaves from our own woodlands together with our allium, ladies mantle, beautiful anemones from us and Plas Flowers in Carmarthenshire with veronica and a few pink ranunculus. The colour scheme was purple blue and lilac with green and shots of hot pink. Hazel carried it off perfectly!

Even though it had rained all morning the weather cleared in just enough time for the ceremony to be held outside in the gazebo. We provided two large arrangements of wild and country flowers for this – including some calla type lillies that Hazel especially asked for..

The bouquets and buttonholes were also a wild and boho mix but rounded with some plush flowers and foliage and natural blooms snuggled in. We also supplied buckets and buckets of flowers for the couple to do their own DIY table arrangements

The Ceridwen Centre really was perfect for this fabulous festival wedding matching Hazel & Ian’s unique style which just shone out in the pics. It was a real pleasure to help!
