Some weddings are an absolute dream to supply with flowers! Not only were Jess & Rickie really lovely to get along with – their ideas and enthusiasm to really get into their rustic yurt theme was liberating and resulted in some spectacular results. Add into the mix that their venues included a beautiful traditional church and the wonderful grounds of Scolton Manor and we had the perfect wedding flower combo! Here’s some of our pictures together with additional snaps from Facebook and the really super ones like this one of Jess’s natural and wild bouquet are from the talented and famous Cwtch the Bride Welsh Wedding photographer Maria Farrelly.
Thank you so much for making our wedding beauuutiful… I didn’t say much specific yet the flowers were exactly what I wanted! You’re a genius. Thank you! x
This was the wedding that just kept growing… starting with bouquets and buttonholes, buckets of flowers for jam jars, a floral arch and milk churns – and then within the last week Jess talked to us about also including flowery pew ends, a flower crown, extra buttonholes and this fabulous flower chandelier for the Yurt from Herf Yerts! Wow! What a fabulous show to put on - we loved it!
I loved the flower chandelier our very talented florist Linda from The Woodland Farm created. I thought she’d run for the hills when I started describing it but she was really up for the challenge.
Above all seeing how beautiful and happy the couple were in the pictures was a fabulous reward! Yes please we like! Here’s just a handful… but there are even more excuisite photos from the super talented Maria Farrelly if you follow the the link.
The arch at Spittal Church was lovely to dress with the peonies and gorgeous viburnum from one of Jessie’s friend’s. We’re always happy to mix DIY and your own flowers along with our own – we just love keeping the flowers local!
And inside the church we used these really cute pew ends to dress the aise…
they looked amazing in-situ – a great mix of country style and full-on romance
As well as flowers in the church itself, milk churns, pew ends and the flower arch – we also supplied flowers for the reception in the Yurts at Scolton Monor.
Jess and Rickie provided the jars ready decorated and we filled them with welsh grown flowers in season, focusing on pinks and pastels but with shots of zinginess!
The light and bright look was perfect for this country style. With a few extra blooms for the naked cake…
This cute little gypsophila flower crown was made by us to compliment the posy x
