Flower crown heaven

flower crownWedding flower crowns are one of the most popular items we get asked for from our brides getting married in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

Lots of florists are confident making up regular stuff – but not everyone is as ready as we are to create bespoke and artisan items that require lots of imagination and time to make them perfect.

We love flower crowns!

Its one of the most enjoyable parts of our job – helping each bride feel like a princess!

Here’s some of the crowns, circlet’s, part-crowns & flower combs we’ve supplied recently – ask us to design something beautiful for you and your hairdresser. Any wedding recommendations to The Woodland Farm from local hairdressers also get 10% discount off their hair flowers! Combs start from £10 and children’s flower crowns from £25 so have fun with it!

Hand made in our studio

Every crown we create is hand made in our studio at The Rhos. The crown is designed with the bride and is based on a soft aluminium circlet that is made to perfectly fit your head (but still allows some squishing to keep in place!)

Hannah’s crown was a medium weight mixed colour crown at the end of the season – so including some autumn shades and berries.flower crown

Cwtch Crown with matching colours

Hazel chose an asymmetrical crown with colours matching her bouquet – this was an incredible wedding credits to FB pics and also from Maria Farelly Photography (Cwtch the Bride). She also wore her crown at a more acute angle than many brides – as the crowns we make use soft wire circlets they can be made to hug tight so you can be really confident they will stay in place however you wear them.

For partial crowns then we often use combs – this one for Katie was a 2-comb 1/3rd flower piece with single combs for the bridesmaids – truly beautiful

And this light crown for Nadia & Nick’s – notice this is thinner than the medium crowns for brides wanting a lighter effect. Nadia wanted lots of tiny rosebuds so this was perfect

This little bridesmaids crown was a ‘rescue replacement’ after the dried crown the bride had bought on Etsy began falling apart. We don’t usually use gypsophilia on its own in a crown (mainly because it smells so bad) but we will always work with you for nicer flowers than you might buy online (and please do ask us first – don’t get ripped off!)
