This Pembrokeshire wedding was the very first EVER to happen at Scolton Manor after they were licensed for weddings and it was fabulous! Local farming couple Stephen and Kate tied the knot in spring 2016 and it was a stunner!
We loved Kate’s flowers. She had a really clear idea of what she wanted – an uplifting mix of the bright zingy colours of spring with loads of fresh greens and hints of blue – as spring was just around the corner we had lots of ranunculus, tiny scented daffodils, viburnum and wild welsh primroses which worked beautifully with the blue grape-hyacinths and welsh bluebells all jumping up to shout out in this stunning look.
The navy of the bridesmaids dresses and the lace tops was a beautiful complement to Kate’s wedding dress which was hand made by her mum-to be… it had an amazing train and was really stunning!
With six bridesmaids all had hand-tied posies to match Kate’s – we loved these colours!
… and so it seemed did our photobombing chickens on the farm – can you spot her? What a naughty bird!
The buttonholes picked up the simple creams & whites with blue & green touches
And corsages also reflected blues and purple shades
Kate’s mum wore a gorgeous forget-me-knot blue suit so it was very fitting to pop some of this happy spring flower in her corsage too!
And even one of the babies got flowers with this little primrose wristlet
With spring weddings booking up for 2017 and beyond we’re looking forward to more of this bright loveliness!
